Community Investment Program (CIP) Giving

The Community Investment Program (CIP) invests in Elks communities through Lodge grants that help Elks meet local needs.

Each year the Morgantown Lodge applies for grants through Grand Lodge that are in turn put back into the Greater Morgantown Community. Additionally, through donations and monies raised at special events and activities throughtout the year, the Morgantown Lodge makes donations to local organizations, sponsors youth teams, provides free space for troupe meetings and works in invoved youth groups in our programs and activies to expand their knowledge and understanding of Chairity.

The Morgantown Lodge and it's Past Exalted Rulers (PERs), have a long-standing tradition of providing food basket to area needy families during the Christmas season.  With information submitted by Lodge members, each year 45-48 families are provided with food baskets worth a total cost of over $5,000.  The Annual Fall Cash Bash has been the  main fundraising event to support this project, with member, friends and families purchasing tickets to support it.
