The Grand Lodge Awards are one way that local lodges can recognize Elks and Community Members
who are involved with their community and demonstrate Elks Care-Elks Share.

Award criteria includes:
Elk of the Year: A member that is always willing to help, someone who can always be relied upon to get things done, Recipient cannot be a currently elected or appointed lodge officer.
Officer of the Year: An Officer who has contributed over and above the duties of office toward the improvement of your Lodge and our Order. Recipient must be a current officer.
Citizen of the Year: A person who has contributed in a special way to improving the local community, shown leadership in the community, has contributed voluntary service, and is recognized as being an all-around good citizen? This recipient does not have to be an Elk, but must be an invidual, The award will not be issued to companies, organizations, groups, etc.
